CPT Test Machine Cone Penetrometer

Introduction

The WSY-B static probe machine uses hydraulic transmission technology, and the static probe's microcomputer determines the necessary mechanical properties of the soil before the force measuring static probe is automatically driven into the soil at a consistent pace (or automatic recording instrument).

With a new design, light structure, compact size, huge power, simple operation, and a high degree of automation, the Wsy-b static probing machine incorporates many benefits of comparable goods at home and abroad (CPT). It can be expanded to accommodate in-situ testing for CPTU (hole pressure static probe), VCT (cross plate shear), WVT (press-in wave velocity), and FSS (flat shovel side swelling) (DMT)

Usage

It is common practice to conduct a cone penetration test (CPT) to determine the subsurface stratigraphy in situ (in place) and to calculate the geotechnical parameters of the materials present. In order to determine the critical development requirements for infrastructure—roadbeds, bridges, and buildings—geotechnical engineers typically do a CPT assessment. The cone must be pushed to depth using static push techniques because of the delicate electronics inside. An instrumented cone is pushed into the floor using the CPT examination technique at a controlled two cm per second push rate. Cone tip pressure, sleeve friction, pore stress, and tilt angle are often measured variables. Seismic sensors and other geo-environmental logging tools are examples of additional sensors that could be added.
